Helping good local work move forward.
I’m Michael Flynn. Frontier Capital is the home for my work to help a founders’ community take root in Oregon’s Rogue Valley—starting with practical projects and the people already doing good work here.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve independently developed ideas, business plans and digital prototypes, and contributed to projects with a few collaborators. The incubator brings a sample of that work together: film, music, technology and local business development, at different stages of readiness.
My contribution is hands-on: researching an opportunity, making the business case, explaining it clearly and developing a useful first version. I want to put those abilities, my time and my willingness to work alongside others to meaningful use.
The ambition is a thriving Rogue Valley with a strong local economy, healthy landscapes and a rich cultural life. The starting point is smaller: choose a worthwhile project, establish what it needs and bring together the people who can help deliver it.
I’m looking to connect with founders, creators, local businesses and a small number of individuals and families who share my conviction in this area and have the capacity to back its potential. Any proposed support should have a clear purpose, a responsible project lead, a realistic budget—including the time to do the work—and an achievable next milestone.
If that speaks to you, I’d welcome a conversation.
